If you’ve not had a massage before you may not know what to expect. Don’t worry our therapists are professionally trained and will ensure you feel comfortable at all times.
1. Meet your Therapist
You’ve booked your appointment. The boring bit is now done. Once you have arrived at the clinic, you will be required to fill out a short form. Following this the therapist will ask a couple of questions to ensure you get the most out of your treatment.
If you are experiencing any areas of pain or suffering from injuries, do inform your therapist at this point.
It is best to arrive 10minutes before your appointment.
2. The Massage
Once in the massage room you will be required to disrobe according to your comfort levels. This is so the massage therapist can provide the massage you’ve requested.
3. During the Massage
If at any time during the massage you feel the techniques is too soft or too hard, please inform your therapist. You will be undergoing the unique massage that you requested, focusing on your goals discussed prior to the massage.
-If you have any allergies that you are aware of please let the therapist know. However we only use top quality hypoallergenic massage creams and lotions.
4. After the Massage
Your therapist will inform you once the massage is complete. They will give you a couple minutes to get up and re-dress. All of our sessions have a 5-minute pre-consultation and 5-minutes at the end for you to re-dress.
We look forward to seeing you at your first of many visits at The Massage Group.
